Reputation Record
A structured, permanent record of a person or business's behavior, built from identity-verified reports and evidence, and identified by an RR ID (e.g. RR-10234).
RR Score
The live trust score attached to a Reputation Record. Recomputed from the full report history on every view rather than stored as a fixed number — it grows over a clean track record and drops when new, evidence-backed reports are filed against it.
Reciprocity Gate
The rule that viewing another person or business's full Reputation Record — and filing a report against one — requires holding your own Reputation Record first. Keeps the network mutually accountable.
Verification Tier
One of four identity checks shown on a Reputation Record: email confirmation, phone confirmation, government ID match, and live selfie match. Shown individually rather than as a single opaque "verified" badge.
Peer Verification
A flow that lets people who know a Reputation Record's owner directly confirm or contest specific claims — adding corroborated context beyond what the record owner reports about themselves.
Resolution
The formal dispute process a Reputation Record subject can use to contest a report filed against them. Outcomes are written to the record's permanent timeline; a resolution in the subject's favor restores most of the associated score deduction.
Evidence-Based Report
A report filed with supporting material — screenshots, receipts, uploaded video, or named witnesses — attached directly to the claim it supports, rather than unsupported text.
Behavioral History
The record of how a person or business has actually acted over time — distinct from identity (who they are) and credit history (how they manage financial obligations).
Trust Intelligence
The discipline of converting scattered behavioral evidence into a structured, verified, continuously scored record that an institution can query and act on.
Trust Stack
The layered set of systems an institution uses to assess risk before making a decision — typically identity verification, credit history, fraud/risk signals and, increasingly, reputation intelligence.
BadMarket Reputation Engine
The underlying system, run by BadMarket.ng, that structures community reports, links evidence and computes trust scores. RRSource is the enterprise search and verification layer built on top of it.
