A Reputation Record, defined

A Reputation Record is a structured, evidence-based record of how a person or business has behaved in real exchanges, connected to a verified identity and kept open to response. It brings together verified identity, first-hand reports, supporting evidence, the subject's responses and completed Resolutions in one place.

What it is not

• It is not a review page. Claims are structured, evidence is attached where available, and the person named can respond.
• It is not a credit report. It does not measure how someone manages money.
• It is not a criminal record check. It does not replace the formal checks required by law for certain roles.
• It is not a verdict. A report is a first-hand account, not an automatic finding of fact.

How a Reputation Record is built

1. Identity. The record is connected to a verified identity, so it cannot simply be abandoned and recreated.
2. Reports. People who have dealt with the subject can submit structured first-hand accounts.
3. Evidence. Photos, documents, messages and witness statements can be attached.
4. Response. The person or business named can respond and add context.
5. Resolution. Disputes can move through a formal Resolution process.

What is an RR Score?

An RR Score is a summary signal built from a versioned methodology, not a tally of complaints. A new score starts neutral. A report does not affect it merely because it was submitted, published or linked to other reports — only a completed Resolution can make a report eligible to affect the score. Older information carries less weight over time, sustained good conduct can support recovery, and coordinated or manufactured activity is identified and discounted.

Portable: why it matters

Reputation today is trapped inside platforms. Years of good reviews as a host, driver or seller vanish when you leave the platform. A Reputation Record belongs to you and travels with you — to your next landlord, your next employer or your next client.

You control who sees it

Your Record starts private. You choose how much to share, who can access it and whether it can be discovered publicly. For longer arrangements, such as a tenancy, you can give someone access for an agreed period.
